SULPHUR OFFICE - West Calcasieu Annex

Birth Certificates older than 1982 may not be processed same day as the Office of Vital Records in New Orleans is CLOSED due to inclement weather. (Posted Jan 26, 2026)

​General services are:

  • Birth / Death Certificates  (Available ONLY at the Sulphur Office)

  • Administering oath of office

 

Recording services are:

  • Mortgage, conveyance and miscellaneous recordings

  • Certified copies of recorded documents

 

Civil suits services are:

  • Accept new suits and successions

  • Time stamp pleading to be forwarded to the main office for processing

  • Accept request for certified and conformed copies of pleadings to be forwarded to the West Calcasieu Annex for pick up.
